The 'Hydra' and 'Minerva' simulation systems may be set up temporarily at any location. However, there are a number of dedicated 'Hydra/Minerva Suites' throughout the United Kingdom and around the world.

In London, the Metropolitan Police Service has three Suites at its central training school at the Peel Centre in Hendon and a further Suite at its Specialist Training Centre. The National Centre of Policing Excellence at Bramshill in Hampshire and Wyboston Lakes in Bedfordshire and the Scottish Police College near Fife in Scotland, also have their own Hydra Suites.

Throughout the UK an increasing number of police forces also now have their own Hydra Suites. These include, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, West Midlands, Hertfordshire, Avon & Somerset, Kent, South Wales and most recently the Police Service of Northern Ireland.

International Suites have been established at the New South Wales Police headquarters in Parramatta NSW, Australia; and in Canada at the Justice Institute of British Columbia in Vancouver and at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police College in Ottawa, Ontario.
